Compensation Range: $30 – 35 per hour
Our client in the streaming space is seeking a contract Video Editor to join their innovative Motion Studio team!

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Streaming Studio team in continuing to set a high bar for performance marketing video deliverables. The ideal candidate should possess a proven ability to excel under stringent time constraints, coupled with the versatility to collaborate effectively with various teams in order to assist users, document procedures, and advocate for team input in software and workflow enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and consistent delivery of daily content by careful editing, conducting thorough spot checks, and adhering to detailed creative specifications and deadlines.
  • Work with multiple split track audio and spot mixes for linear broadcast and/or social media specifications.
  • QC, ingest, and release assets to the Studio team.
  • Work well under tight deadlines, with the capacity to work across multiple teams to help users, document processes, and represent team feedback for software and workflow improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Has 2+ years experience as a video editor working in a post-production, media publishing company or agency with an understanding of social media/traditional broadcast platforms and trends.
  • Experience with short form and utility editing such as versioning, tagging and formatting for social media and traditional broadcast platforms.
  • Knowledge of aspect ratios and encodes for delivery to social media and traditional broadcast platforms.
  • Exceptional video edit project organizational skills.
